He received his medical education from the Broussais-Hotel Dieu school of Medecine in Paris, completed his residency at the Hôpital Européen Georges Pompidou and a fellowship at the Institute for Transplant Research (ITERT) in Nantes.
His specialty interests include renal, cardiovascular and, solid organ transplant pathology (kidney, heart, liver and small intestine).
He currently practices at Necker Hospital where he is in charge of the Transplant Pathology and Renal pathology unit.
Dr Duong-Van-Huyen’s research interests include several aspects of the injury of the graft vascular tree, from microcirculation to large vessels, during solid organ transplantation.
